My little brown anole laid an egg last night! It could be fertile because she was with living with a male not long ago. I candled the egg with a flashlight (without turning it or moving it!) and saw a red formation, it looked like an embryo to me, but I wasn't sure if it was too early for it to mean anything or not. Has anyone ever had a fertile anole egg? How long do they take to hatch? Even if the egg or future baby doesn't live, it's still very interesting!
