Monty Jackson - First year in photos

On 23rd October I will have had my gorgeous little Monty for a whole year! I got him at 7 weeks and have taken a photo of him on my finger every month to show his progress and growth. What a wonderful year it has been watching him grow from a tiny brown scrap into a gorgeous, friendly green boy with spendid horns! I love this little man so very much!

23rd October 2011 - aged 7 weeks


24th November 2011 - 12 weeks


28th December 2011 - 16 weeks


25th January 2012 - 20 weeks


26th February 2012 - 25 weeks


27th March 2012 - 29 weeks


23rd April 2012 - 33 weeks


24th May 2012 - 37 weeks


23rd June 2012 - 42 weeks


23rd July 2012 - 46 weeks


23rd August 2012 - 50 weeks


24th September 2012 - 55 weeks (1 year, 3 weeks)

I don't have to say I think Monty is wonderful, everyone knows I love him. When he hit his green in March he turned into a big boy. Going month to month the sudden change really stands out. He just keeps getting better and better.

How come Monty isn't changing his color to match your nails?

Its nice to see the growth he's gone through! I dont think I've ever seen pictures of a jackson from baby to adult! He's so handsome! He's got a beautiful blue color to him! The jackson's I had only had that color on his tail or when he was asleep.

i want a jackson cham...hes super cool...he looks sooooo cool as a baby ..like a little dinosaur...

Thanks everyone - it's been an amazing journey watching grow up! i can hardly remember how tiny he was when he arrived!

Thanks! He's always that lovely blue/green and yellow when I get him out. He's a very happy boy!

Lol! It wasn't my idea - I was inspired by jdog1027's thread of his young Jackson, but I made sure to take a new photo around the same date every month. I am so glad I did!

Monty is my favorite Jackson of all time! You've done a wonderful job with him. His baby pictures are the cutest!

Monty is handsome beyond words! I love the growing up pictures...much like seeing your kids as teenagers and not quite believing they were ever babies, its easy to forget our chams were once that tiny too!! Love him...!!

Ohh lol well I will steal his idea! I will take my pics on the 13th of every month thats his birthday 7-13-12 hehe just like mine but years later We were meant to be!!

Aww, that's sad - you need to ask whoever is caring for them while you are gone to take loads of photos for you!

Thanks! It has been an amazing journey with Monty - I honestly didn't think it was possible to love a chameleon as much as I love Monty! I look forward to seeing your Sammy updates - I still love that name you gave him!
