Misting times

So what do you guys have your mistking/whatever mist system you have timer set to for your chams? I have a panther and right now I have the timer set to go every 3 hours for 1 min but I'm thinking I might do a longer duration spray but I was interested in what other people had theirs set to.

I mist a lot longer. My lights come on At 8am, mist 15 min @ 8:30, 5 min @ 11, 5 min @ 1:30pm, 20 min @ 4, 10 min @ 6:30 then lights out at 8pm. I also pick a couple of random days a week for "rainy days" and mist for an hour or two through the afternoon. I found the chams utilize the mist and end up standing right in it, drinking and rinsing their eyes during the longer sessions. I have worked out my drainage to allow for all the water though. Interesting..Yea my drainage is good, Im adding another cham on thursday and was thinking about doing longer misting times. My lights come on at 7am and go off at 7pm. I thought about doing some random "rainy nights" but for the most part keep the misting to a minimal at night and give the cage some time to dry out. thanks for your input

I don't mist at night but it might not be such a bad thing... I never really thought about it. I do run an ultra-sonic room humidifier pretty much 24/7 to give my humidity a boost though. Its super dry around here, especially through the winter with my furnace constantly blowing. Cheers!
