Hello everyone, i've been lurking the forums for about 2 months or so, but never really posted or anything. Today i am setting up a cage for a panther chameleon and need a little help with the automated mister. The T part is in the top where the nozzle is correct? Tubing must go in both ends of the nozzles correct? One end is where the water comes up from, but what im having trouble is, is where does the other end go? Because i also have tubing into a resoviour, so Theres tubing into the resouiver that goes into the pump, thats IN im guessing? Than theres the other side where the tubing goes up into the mister, i understand one part of the T im having trouble wondering where does the other end go ? i see if i put it into the water nothing will mist, if i take it out water will come out fast. If i hold my finger over it the mist comes out. I think im a little confused and hope i dont confuse everyone Thank you very much. I seen links on setting up the nozzle but theres not many for the tubing part. Sorry im not so smart when it comes to this i guess.

If that doesnt make much sense, pretty much i need tubing help lol, I understand one part goes from the water bucket to the IN part in the pump, than the other part goes from the out up to the T part in the mister,(thats one side) now theres ANOTHER side to the T basically when i connect tubing to that side where does the end part go? Thank you, im sitting here so confused

It sounds like you purchased a T valve nozzle which is intended for a multiple nozzle system. You need a single L valve which is meant for the end of the line.

so this is what I think you have:

Res-------line----pump-----line-----T nozzle-------------???

and this is what you need

Res-------line----pump-----line-----L nozzle

Thank you for replying im sitting here so confused, I also have the L connecter, so im guessing i ditch the T and use the L ? I tried setting up the L the same way to the top than when i plugged it in, instead of spraying like it did before when i had to hold the line, it just dripped all over the place. Hmm? I'll go play with it until maybe i get another reply. I thank you for your help so far !

Thank you so much for your help ! I think it all makes sense now L connecter not T!, I think i have it working. I'm going to check and make sure, it did work for a second when i plugged it in, but i plugged it out, have to set up the timer and stuff. :)
