Mini Prolapse?

Okay so this morning my cham dropped a plug but he kept trying to wipe it away even though he already had and it seemed like his vent did not close back together the normal way. So that was probably around 9am and now it is 6pm. So now I caught him trying to pump out another plug but nothing came out and he walked up and down a branch wiping his vent up and down it, then continued to do this on other branches.

Now he's back to basking but it seems like his vent hasnt "sealed" back together like normal and it looks a little swollen/inflamed. Is there such thing as a "mini" prolapse where the hemipenes do not get stuck outside the body but just don't go back in fully.

The whole branch he did it on was already wet so I couldn't really tell if it was slimey...I'm looking at it now and there doesn't seem to be any slime. He's around 9months.. when you say offer what do you mean?.. we were eating our dinner while he was doing this! And his vent looks normal now.

He has not had a prolapse but I'm bumping this cause he is still acting very strange. He has not eaten in six days and seems to be always trying to drop sperm plugs.. do males go on hunger strikes if they're looking for a mate? I know he still drinks but his poops been getting smaller and smaller and today it was basically nothing. He just keeps wiping his vent on things after pumping a little out..moving around very slow as well and he likes to keep one of his back legs lifted. Also last time he stopped eating I offered him a superworm and he immediately gave in..this time he has no interest at all.

I'm going through the same thing with a Cham I got a few weeks ago. He arrived in this condition so I'm not sure what the cause is. I just finished up with an antibiotic and he has finally been able to tuck everything in where it should be but it is still a bit swollen. Ferritinmyshoes suggested it might be an impaction of sperm plugs which sounds right given how the Cham has been acting. Here is my thread you so you can see what mine has been going through, not sure if it will help but.https://www.chameleonforums.com/should-i-worried-116581/

?

I read and hear a lot about the plugs and stuck vents. You can bag on me all you want, i don't care, but i'm gonna ask. I am yet to experience this issue with any of mine. Anyone who could pm me a link or a quick lesson, i would be appreciative. I always am trying to be ahead of the curve for future problems that may arise. Like i've stated before i have glaucoma (the real kind), so researching is kind of hard for me. I get migraines from reading pc monitors. Therefore, that is why you see me so much on here, one stop shop (so to speak). Any help would be great. thanx (ps: it hasn't been covered in any of the books i have read either)
