Meet Rowdy and me!

Hello from Cincinnati! I am new to the chameleon club, but my boyfriend and I are no strangers to the world of reptiles. Thanks to my dad I had the pleasure of growing up with a variety of different snakes, lizards, and turtles. I have a bounty of experience with iguanas as they are my father's favorite animal. I am excited to raise Rowdy since he is our first chameleon and while I did a ton of research before making the commitment to care for a chameleon, I am open to any tips you may be willing to offer.

Attached is a picture of him getting mad at us while we were installing additions to his environment. He threw a tantrum and climbed up the screen.

I keep veileds and they are totally awesome and show so much personality. I'm attaching a blog that I did for new keepers when I had veiled babies to have to fine good homes for. I hope it will help you to keep Rowdy healthy and happy. Also, I'm attaching a vet in your are that my friend in Cincinnati uses. He has allot of chameleon experience and that's important. I'm looking forward to seeing Rowdy grow up through pictures via the forums.
