I have eco earth coconut fiber in my veiled's enclosure because the people at the pet store said it was good to use (they owned a chameleon so I thought they would know what was best). Now I am reading everywhere that no substrate at all should be used. Do you know if this will harm my veiled? Her crickets are not normally roaming the bottom of the enclosure so she shouldn't accidentally eat any, but I am still concerned.
@Night3ng4le I'm sorry for the late response. I was told by several members on this forum that it was not safe for them so I removed it. Personally, it was much easier when poop scooping and it helped with water but I would rather be safe than sorry. I am new to chameleon owning so I suggest looking at @jannb who has owned veiled chameleons for over 20 years. Her profile and blog can be extremely helpful.
