Hello aboogabooga, welcome to the Chameleon Forums

Mealworms would not get good to use as a staple diet. They could be used as a treat and to add variety, but not as an every day feeder. For some detailed info on some commonly used feeders, check out this article at chameleon news: Nutrition - by Dr. Sue Donoghue. I use silkworms and crickets as a staple or main diet.

You could also try phoenix worms and fruit flies as well for a little variety.

Welcome to the forums. :^)
