Can i keep a male and female chameleon together is a tank???
I have a small boy aged 5 months and want to get a girl to go with him same size. Can someone let me before i get another one please xx

I will just stick with Pedro, i was told from who i got pedro from i could keep the two together as he has 50 small ones together, mixed sex. the breder i got him from is really no good, he was no help what so ever. thanks for replaying to my message xx

You can keep hatchling veiled chameleons together until they are about three months old if you know what you need to watch for that indicates that they need to be separated.
I definitely wouldn't keep them together after that age. If a male and female are left together after that they will mate as soon as they are sexually mature. At this point your female may not even be full grown...so you would be asking her to produce fertile eggs when she isn't even done growing her own bones. Its a recipe for trouble. |
