So Sobe is about 4 months now and I just got the silkworms in the mail today. He's been eating only crickets and fruitflies for the past two months and I thought it'd be nice to introduce him to some new food! He was kinda freaked out by them at first and was hissing at them lol Then he flipped out and ate all 5 of em!

They are big and juicy so I think I'll stick to about 20 crix a day and then like 5 silkworms, what u think???

yea just make sure he doesn't start to get fat

some veileds in my experience can power eat and are active enough to burn through that, but some eat and just get chubby limbs!

and some don't eat that much at all!

20 cricx a day AND 5 silkworms sounds like way to much food. How big are the crickets?

Jeez im lucky if my 4 month veiled (male) eats 6 crickets a day. Jeez. He still looks fat to me tho so I dunno maby he has a small apetite.

haha he eats the lil crickets that are like a step above pin heads, the only ones that the pet store has. Its either really small or HUGE.. So i feed him bout 20 of the tiny crix
