For the love of pythons...

Small python species are my long-time love:

I work with carpets, womas and a puppy-dog tame green tree python

thought i had some woma picks on photobucket, but i guess not...

maybe later

Thanks for looking

Awesome, I love so many of the python species, Your GTP is amazing, looks very content and docile.... I'm actually picking up a little Coastal Carpet today, and a Blood Python tomorrow. Good times!

Thanks guys! Yeah that GTP is one of the most rewarding reptiles I've ever owned. I will pair it up to breed later in 2008...

Really?! I traded photography for "reptile credits" with a guy that breeds some nice gtp's. But now I'm kinda thinking that I'd rather have a panther cham then a gtp.

If I bought a yearling, Joe, and kept him in a small neonate/rubbermaid container that I've seen breeders use. How long would it be before I'd need to buy a 24" square pvc habitat?

Thinking about space and cost right now.

What I should have asked is - what is it about gtp's that you find so rewarding? Compare them to chams if you will.

Regarding the enclosure size... you'll have to see how fast yours grows and use your judgement to decide when its ready for a bigger home. But you'd have at least a year, possibly more...

The reason i find them so rewarding is that I REALLY really like snakes. Beyond that pythons are my favorite, and the GTPs are the perfect blend of beauty, manageable size, and a good challenge!
