I use the basic free version. I believe the IRC plugin should be included. Do you not see IRC under the plugin menu? To get to the plugin menu, use the directions below when viewing the starting page.


click on: Trillian => Connections => Manage My Connections
Scroll down to 'Plugins'

There are currently a couple people in the chatroom. The scheduled chat only lasted an hour. You may not be connecting to the right irc network. Make sure you are using freednode (chat.freenode.net).

In Trillian, you have to setup the connection. Once you set this up, you will not have to do so again. Go to 'Manage My Connections' and then 'Add New Connection'.



There are many reasons why someone may have problems with Java. Two very common causes would be:
1.) Java is not installed on your computer or you are using an old version that needs to be upgraded.
2.) Your firewall may be blocking communication.

What is the server alias for the live chat? I DLed Trillion. I have got myself to the point where i need the 'server alias'. do I need anything else beside my username?

Server alias is just a nickname you give, can be anything. I choose Chameleons2 as seen below.

OK... figured out how to join a channel... which do we use? "#chameleon" or just "chameleon"?
