leopard gecko rack system?

i have a shelving unit that is very tall, about 2 feet wide, and one foot deep. it can comfortably fit a ten gallon on a shelf. i want to convert this to a rack as cheap as possible. i have an opportunity to buy 7 designer geckos for 200...its a good deal, but thats alot of money (for me) so this rack has to be bare basics. now, i know i control the heat with a thermostat, or a dimmer, isnt there a probe i need to put somewhere? where would i put it? also, how would i thread the heat tape or cord into this shelving system? like i said, its not very deep, so if i did it in the back, there wouldnt be much of a variation, could i do it on the left or right side somehow? i know they prefer belly heat, but what if i ran the tape up the left side wall? but wouldnt the heat escape? gah!!! i need help :( i also need to make this in a week...

Belly heat is a must with leos! It helps them digest. As far as how to convert it, I don't have any suggestions seeing as all of ours are in premade racks. Gecko forums.net would probably be a better place to ask!

From what I gather, rack systems ate complicated and for experienced Leo keepers only. I hope you know house each one in its own house?

Here's a link to an awesome gecko forum, loads of great ideas and money saving tips http://theleopardgeckoforum.com/index.php

Btw, if you get these geckos we will want to see pics of the cute little guys :)

ive tried both of those forums, none have helped :/ either nobody answers, or they give me rude inconsiderate answers :( and dont worry, i was planning on keeping them seperately, thats why i want a rack and not to keep buying tanks... and will deff post pics ;)

heres some pics and morphs of 5 of the seven geckos that im trying to get:

Giant Tremper het Raptor(male)

Mack Snow Fasciolatus (in shed)

and theres also an adult female and baby eclipse that he didnt send me pics of. can anyone give me a guess as to what this group is worth and if his morphology seems correct?
