Knight Anole

Here are some old photos of a Knight Anole who lived outside the window of my chameleon room at my old house. This guy lived in my yard for months. I named him Perry. This is the only wild Knight that i've ever been able to tame.

Nice Cuban Knight. How can you tell the male from the female? I'm calling my female because I read that if they have the white bands as babies they are female and mine had white bands.

I wish I lived in Florida. There is so much green! All we have is brown save the cacti.

Jannb, I knew he was a male because he would flash his huge dewlap every once and a while. The dewlap is a soft pink in color. Syn, move to FL! We have cacti too. Jeff, nice anole! There was a time not to long ago when you couldnt find Knights past Dade county. They have spread so fast in the past 10 years. I wonder how much futher north they will get in another 10 years. Jacksonville?

Maybe I will get to see one this year when I come down for the Daytona show in August, any ideas where to look? Those are cool looking.
