Kitty and Agnes

Just a quick update ... our girl is doing well, no problem getting her to eat!!!
Kitty seems to be coming out of his winter "brumation" ... He's had 5 or 6 HUGE silkworms in the last 3 days and presented me (finally) with a tremendous present (of the fecal/urate variety):)
Here are a couple pics from this morning.

Okay ... more of Kitty

That was not a great picture of the big boy.
I took him out to inspect him just now and shot this blurry picture!
Plus one more;)

Could've picked out that shark casque a mile away!

Looks like a healthy couple! Otto is coming out of his brumation too, eating pretty regularly.

Nice Veileds........

Nice pictures Brad. Agnes looks like she will be able to handle Kitty and keep him on his "toes". Do you have a video camera ready for the big event? I think a mini movie is in order for their upcoming romance :)

Okay. I've been very unhappy with agnes' pics ... I think the UVB is making her look brown, so she came out for a picture so you can all see how green she really is.
I also wanted to palpate her and make sure there aren't any eggs (she seems so fat compared to Kitty) I don't believe there are ... but who knows.
Anyway ... here she is again!

WOW!
What is that song by Queen.
"Fat bottom girls".lol
or......ACDC "Whole Lot of Rosey"
I would put her on a scale to see if her weight is going up.
She could be keeping unfertile eggs, but I'm not 100% sure.
She sure is pretty though.
I love female veileds for that reason.
good luck

A lot of that is air.
She really puffs up when I disturb her ... she is chunky though, but I think females tend to look a little fatter as a rule .. again, I don't know. She has a suitable laying container in her enclosure just in case.
