Ugh.

I ordered 2 cups of lobster roaches from mulberry farms, it says clearly on the box, call customer and do not deliver!

yea.. usps didnt listen, they tried to deliver on wednesday, left a note cuz no one was home.

I got the note wednesday at like 7 (so long after they close)

sent my sister to pick them up first thing thursday morning-

opened the box- all dead. and let me tell you, it smells NASTY.

Mulberry farms and i are dealing with it, BUT USPS SUCKS!

for the record- not bashing mulberry, they are working with me, and they clearly labeled the box to NOT DELIVER CALL CUSTOMER AND IT HAS MY PHONE NUMBER ON IT!

The same EXACT thing happened to me last week! Labeled "Hold for pick up" and yet they still tried to deliver. They called the mailman off of his route to come back to my warehouse and re-deliver. Luckily, my order was still alive!
 
I refuse to use USPS, they always deliver to my house too. I have even taken the boxes down to show them how freakin' clearly they are marked. They just don't get it!

I am not dissing on USPS, cause I am a fed and I understand they are going through alot right now, but d@mn!

i am dissing usps.

i dont care how tough times are.. but read the frekaing label.

bright yellow label, says in big black letters, do not deliver, hold for pick up, call customer.

I know, I just suck up the cost and use FedEx. End of problem.
 
i'm getting some roaches from abdragons.. they shipped the roaches out on monday with USPS and was supposed to get them on tuesday... guess who still hasn't gotten them! i really can't stand USPS... (not an issue with abdragons as they handled everything greatly in my opinion... but i'm emailing them today about not getting the roaches.. i'm sure they're dead by now..)

Thankfully, when i need to ship my reptiles, I have you guys. ;)

This is just ridiculous though, i mean, we spend so much on bugs to get shipped to us that we cant buy locally, and then they all freaking die because someone is too stupid to read a label.
 
its happened to us a couple times. thats why everytime we tell usps that they are paying for the cost of our delivery or we will sue them. they pay us everytime and after like 3 or so times we can tell who is working bc they have learned not to mess with us..... now my big stink with them is if it says "live Animals" or "live insects" and not "pick up only" they will drop it at our door without knocking and leave
 
I just want to say, thank you to Mulberry Farms!

They will be replacing and overstocking my lobster roach order, that the USPS so kindly killed. Even though their policy doesnt cover the USPS screwing up and delivering when told not to.
