My Katydid eggs are hatching. Thank you Lee. Here's the pictures I promised. I'll have to add a few more when we get them set up in their cage tomorrow.

Awesome jann thank you for posting the pics these are so cool as pets and feeders lol ...good pics they are so cool they look like little spiders when they first hatch but then they get huge and green :) I am glad they are breeding and making eggs and babies for you know ....

Nice! I bet your herd will love them! I remember catching them and all of my guys would just tear them up.

Congrats! Are they to be food for your ladies? Do they need to be fed in moderation or can they be a staple?

Thanks for the comments.

Blackened, they are food for all the chams. I really don't use anything as a staple. I rotate a large variety of feeders all the time.

Jon, They are not hard to raise. It just takes time and they eat ALLOT of food. I will post some photos of their cage set up and my adults this afternoon.

Hey jann a little trick for you on raising those baby katydids that I learned the hard way lol. Put a hook in the middle top part of the cage were you can hang a piece of romain from it makes cage cleaning a lot easyer :) also put some fake leaves in there on there sticks so when you mist them there is water drops on the leaves for them to drink . They are kind of like chams because they don't drink from a water bowl and they drink the drops of water that makes them so much cooler to me :)

Thanks for the tips. :) We have some hooks for the romain and will work on getting some leaves. Making pictures now. Why don't you post a few pictures
of yours to give me some ideas.
