I agree with crossfire. There is little wiggle room for error when raising a hatchling since they are at their most fragile state from egg to a couple of months old. Plus, the seller is not guaranteeing that the egg will even hatch, so I would spend the extra money on one that is 3-4 months old if you're wanting a baby. My advice would be to not do it; however, if you've done your homework and feel you are capable, then I say go for it. I was lurking around this forum for months before I bought my panther. It's heartbreaking to see owners making mistakes that could have easily been avoided with 2 minutes of reading. Knowledge goes a long way! Good luck!
