Just a quick question.
Is there such a thing as to big of a tank for pygmy Chameleons. I have two bearded pygmys, male and a female. Right now there in a 29 gallon tank, but the otherday while I was at my local patstore I saw that they had a 60 gallon on sale that I really like, just wondering if thats going to be to big for them. I am thinking of possibly adding 1 or 2 more females to my pair. So I would need to up grade anyway, just worried that right now that might be a bit big for just the two of them.

Bigger is better.
![]() Your two pygmies should be very happy in a 29g cage. A 60 gallon pygmy cage would be sweet! I'm actually working on setting up a 55g with a nice stand that makes the top eye level. I figured it would make a nice living room display. ![]() Normally the rule is one pygmy per 10g, so a 2.4 or even a 2.5 ratio should be ok. |
