They don't seem to have a product that would be appropriate for chameleons.
If you watch the whole video ... the only products they have are for turtles, tortoises, amphibians, bearded dragons, and other Plant eating reptiles.
(that's a quote).
I don't think it's anything I could use.

They've got a meal, which I believe is a powder form for dusting greens, couldn't you dust crickets or other insects? Also, what about feeding your crickets pellets, or dusted greens?

It could definitely be administered to a cham, but what about the ingredient values and any thoughts on this?

Absolutely would not do it.
Not for chameleons, not tested on chameleons.
Not worth it.

-Brad

Well, I wrote them through the website and inquired about it and asked if they had future plans on making something similar for insectivorous/carnivorous reptiles such as snakes and chameleons, so maybe I'll get a reply within 24hrs like the site says! ha

I am one of those people who is always immediately skeptical.
I would like to know what the recommended feeding schedule is.
I would not be comfortable constantly feeding my animals Panacur and Flagyl.
Are regular fecal floats part of this regimen?

-Brad

If you go to the website, there's more info than the video has. I believe, the site instructions recommend using the anti-bacterial first, daily for a week, then moving to the anti-parasite for a week.

In my opinion, it sounds like a great product, especially if it does work without doing harm. There's a lot of people who don't have reptile specialty vets and something like this would greatly help the reptile communities out. I'm skeptical as well, thus why I posted here, to get others opinions, also I know some of us members are well knowledgable vets who would be able to look at the active ingredients and know if these would be safe for our pets.

None the less, I hope I get a response from Jungle Labs and if I do, I'll be sure to post it here for all to know weither or not we should use it.

In the mean time, should anyone have any knowledge on ingredients and administration of these products, please do share!

Im the same way. Until i hear about a reputable breeder using the product with success im not using it. But something like this has alot of potential.

Their Response

Welp, I got a response this morning, here it is:

Any comments: I was wondering if your Reptile Xtra product line would be useful with Chameleons? If so, what would you recommend for administering? If not, are you, or will you be working on something for insect eating reptiles and possibly snakes and other reptiles?

Thanks for your time,Chris

Hello, Reptile Xtra for Tortoises and Lizards is for plant and insect eating reptiles. So, it should work for your chameleon. Reptile Xtra Meal would work the best to dust the food with. Sincerely, Jungle Labs
