We will be accepting entries by email again for June. To enter the contest please email your entry to [email protected]. I will reply within a couple days to confirm that your entry has been received. We will move back to the regular entry method soon.

I saw in the rules that contest prize winners must sit out the next month's contest. Since I got 3rd place in May does that mean I have to sit out this month's contest? Or does it just mean 1st place? Thanks!

You're fine. That rule only applies if you receive an actual prize

You just email your photo to the email address in post #2.

We received almost 50 entries this month representing many beautiful chameleons. Unfortunately, we have a limited number of voting slots and half the entries did not make it. If your photo did not advance to the voting round you're welcome to send me a pm to inquire about how it might have ranked higher.

Comparing the original size of each image can help and is recommended. Photos should not only be judged by the chameleon displayed, but also on composition and image quality.

Your entry was received but unfortunately it did not advance to the voting round. You have a great looking chameleon but there was a lighting issue. I'd be happy to discuss it more by private message if you wish. I'm also happy to offer feedback on potential contest entries before the entry deadline.

How do we vote?

#10 brings me back to my first chameleon. A baby common Mediterranean chameleon was given to me on the beach in Libya. I was 9 and Gaddafi had just taken control of the country. You do the math.
