Jasper is really dark.....

I am affraid that there is something wrong with Jasper. He has been dark and not looking very happy for the past couple days. Could this be due to the new change I made to his cage and him just adjuting to the better enviroment? I am also scared he is not eating because I cant find any droppings.


Cage Info:

* Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions? Screen cage 30x36x36 (this is rough I lost my tape messure)
* Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule? I am uing a 25 watt uvb light and a 40 watt heat light. I have ordered a 5.0 uvb 36" bulb and holder
* Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? the floor is 80 and basking is 85-88 I have an indoor out door thermostat. I place the thermostat on the floor and put the out door line in the basking area
* Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? The humidity stays around 45%-50% my thermostat has a humidity reader.
* Plants - Are you using live plants? I have a jasmin plant in the cage
* Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? Jasper has his own bed room. There is no traffic unless I am misting feeding or turnng on the lights. The cage is onn the gound ontop of a normal sized desk
* Location - Where are you geographically located? Colorado


Chameleon Info:

* Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care? Jasper is a male veild cham about 2 months I am guessing and I have had him 2 weeks.
* Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? never
* Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders? I am feeding him him around 5 medium crickets that are sprayed with vitamins and feed apples and oranges. (I have ordered the top three on this site http://www.petmountain.com/category/...pplements.html)
* Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking? I mist 4-5 times a day for around 5 minutes each time. I also have a homemade drip. I see him drinking all the time.
* Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? before I changed his cage He had dark portion and a white portion in his dropping. Since I have put the plant in the cage I cant find any droppings though. and no he has not been tested.
* History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. I just updated his cage thanks to the help from members on this forum. I had a BAD setup due to the pet store helping me set it up.
* Current Problem - The current problem that you are concerned about. Jasper is really dark and has been for the past two days and I am scared he is not eatng.
