Awesome job Carl! You are going to be out of room before you know it. I guess we will have to take most of the Werneri when they are finally born hahaha. Congrats man!

Thanks everyone!

I'm already out of room Nick! Have to make a few more outdoor racks tomorrow. :)

I hope you have a lot of fruit flies- wow - 22 plus the 8 sternfeldi - (of which I think I would like some more pictures) Congratulations !

Yep plenty of fruits flies and aphids.:)

I'll update the sternfeldi thread tomorrow.

More and more it is looking like I might need to take a trip out to meet you. Oh yes, then I could see the babies.:D:D:D:D

She didn't wait very long to drop-you called it Carl!

There's a pretty pair up my way and the girl is probably not too far from giving birth either but I've resisted temptation. It's not easy-ha!

These guys are relatively easy as long as they have lots of food and the temps don't get to warm. Raising them outside is a big plus.

Carl, am I right in saying that they are montane species?
I would love a pair of these.I may be able to get some here in SA.
Rod.

Yes Rod montane. I would suspect you would be getting true Kenyan xantholophus in SA. My pair are from Hawaii. The Hawaiians can take temps a bit warmer then the Kenyan's.
I m keeping them in the shade with only morning sun. Temps around their cages stay in the low 80f's during the day and drop into the low to mid 60f's at night. The mist system runs for 30 minutes every 4 hours.

Congrats Carl!! I've actually got a pair of Mt. Meru jacksons on hold for me right now. Just have to get their enclosure ready and hopefully I'll have some jackson babies soon too! They're adorable :D

I find it is the eyes with baby jax. They are always HUGE! Hard not to just stare at them. Then they have that reddish tone. Not to mention, they are mean little bullies as babies. Nothing like their adult demeanors. Enjoy cleaning up ALL that POOP!
