Introducing Eddie (and Edith)!

Hi All,

I've been around snooping about the website for about a year now, but have never posted. Thought I'd introduce my Ambilobe panther, Eddie. He's approximately 15 months old and the son of Payaso (from David / ibdragons).

I have him in a 48"x24"x24" screen enclosure with a few live plants / twigs I cured from my trees in the backyard. He digs hornworms, crickets and silkworms, but superworms (in moderation) make him go wild.

His wife Edith, is kept next door. Unfortunately, I had grand dreams of raising young ones, but just do not have the time. I may be letting her (and setup go) as I have just been offered a new job in NYC (moved to Ohio from NYC a few years ago) and two chameleons won't cut it in a Manhattan apartment.

Thanks,

Mike

Yeah, never bred. I have often wondered. The 2x I tried breeding them (she was peachy colored), she would hiss and turn dark brown and I always separated immediately. Funny, my nickname for her is Ms. Piggy, cause she would eat me out of house & home if I let her.

Hey there beautiful chams u got there. Just to let u know even without breeding female chams do lay infertile eggs, so from the pic I think she's gravid. Better get a lay bin ready!
