Hi Everyone,

I just want to be sure what are the incubation temps for veiled chameleon eggs? I expect my female to lay around the first week or 2 of april and want to be prepared i was going to order a reptibator this weekend but know i barely found out that it doesnt cool! i though it cooled and heated so that blows and now i dont know what incubator to get? i was just going to get it but this is my first clutch and want everything to go smoothly. so i need help with temps/humidity and if possible what incubator do you use and PLEASE DO NOT bring up the closet method as my house gets about 60 degrees at night and where i live some nights are hot and some are cold. . . . suck i know!

Well what are you willing to spend on an incubator.?

And I believe, from what I have read, that incubating veiled eggs is between 72-76. No more then 78 though or they will cook.

I bought an incubator from lllreptile. It's kinda like a fridge that shows the temp up front. It also has a light you can turn on. I checked lllreptile's website, but I don't see it on there anymore. I kept my Veiled chams at 78 and they hatched in around 9-10 months.

ya get a reptipro 5000 or 6000. they stopped making the 5000 series but it worked great.. they are digital and heat and cool.. i start my veileds off at 68 and work my way up to 78 over 6 months!

I also use a chicken incubator n just hatched my fiirst batch about a week ago. toook about 7 months i stressed alot but all seems well . eveyone is eating n drinking . They even get little tudes each other very funny to watch

i was thinking of getting the hova bator but i just dont trust it and i dont want to take ANY risks as this is my first ever clutch:)

well im looking at the reptipro and i like it i might get that one:D
