i want crested geckos soo bad :/

i have everything i need for them..except the geckos. the pet store is charging $50 each..which i think is alot..and nobody else has any..and im not looking to ship...im soo bummed im not looking for genetics or lineage or anything..just a couple as pets :/

theres a reptile show coming up tomorrow and i was soo tempted to buy one last month! if they dont have a gold dust day gecko i just may pick a crested up

im possibly going to the show in ny end of march...but its such a long haul, even the reading and hamburg shows are really far for me :/ id blow more money in gas and a hotel room for a night at a show, than i would in a whole month -.- gah! i wish the shows were closer...theres a reptile place called cold blooded and company here locally, but they dont sell..just do shows :/ ive tried to contact them..but they never get back to me -.-

$50 is not that exspensive for a crested. Unless the crested is like a patternless or a really bad looking harlequin they're going to be around that price range. The reptile shows might have them for cheaper but the cresties most likely wont be an awesome looking morph. If you want something cheaper I would go through a breeder and just order it.

the local petco had them for $50..all were patternless, most had no tails, and were in bad shape :/ id like to find a breeder, or order, but shipping kills me!! :/

Yeah $50 is honestly pretty cheap, and tails are just a personal preference. If they aren't healthy, that is a problem! Just wait, one will come up!

i hope so..my city is dumb...ive posted ads all over the place about studding linus or cresties for sale..so far ive had thousands of views..and only 2 replies, each about $100 cresties -.- i hate this place..nobody keeps exotics here unless its ball pythons...which are soo common they shouldnt even be considered exotic anymore :/

see i want cresteds sooooo baddd!!!! i found a bunch of great breeders but they are all expensive!! a couple people on here are actually breeders too.

Theres the show tomorrow you could come up to here in OH, its every month and its only a 4 hr drive from altoona PA, only thing that sucks is that its a small show, has TONS of crested geckos tho!
