How often should he shed?

My panther chameleon is about 9 months old. I've had him since June. He shed two weeks after I got him, three weeks after that, and.... not at all since then. It has been 6 weeks! He seems like he is due for a shed because his scales are dull and sort of grayish in between the circles, but he has looked like that for over a week. A few days ago he shed just one scale from one of the spikes on his nose. And then yesterday it looked like he had a small patch of skin ready to shed on his tail, but it seems to have disappeared

I realize that as they get older they are going to shed less often, but I just wanted to make sure this is normal at this age. Is it?
Thanks :)

I have had my cham since May and he is now 10 months old, He has only shed 2 times for me aswell. So your cham is on track. I'm not really sure how many times they shed in a year once they are older. I would assume that it would taper of once they reached adulthood and stoped growning. Hope this helped.

Thank you that is helpful. I wasn't sure if he was on track since it's been twice as long as the last gap between sheds. The comparison is helpful

yes, he will shed less and less and will also shed in parts. My panther is shedding on his feet and tail right now and not the rest of his body. He is 21 months old. Has not had a full body shed in ages.
