How many plants?

I started out with fake plants, but decided to switch to live plants. Question: Is there a point at which the cage is too crowded with plants?

I have a baby cham, so I think he is fine for now. Have a 2x2x4 cage and put 3 large plants. It is a pretty tight squeeze but still room for Karma to climb right now since she's so small. Even had to keep one of the fake plants so she could get closer to the heat lamp if she wanted to.

Thanks!

as Jannb said you definetly need a smaller cage for your baby, they wont be able to hunt/find their food since the cage is so large. Im making a big cage right now for my future cham, but bought a small one for transportation and if i buy a baby/juvinile.

large critter keepers are fine for babies, like jann said, two live plants should do it, with a good load of bamboo sticks.

a uvb source is of course neccessary, and depending on the species, you MAY need a heat source if your room temperature and the temp from the uvb doesnt match what it is supposed to be.
