My picture in the corner is a veiled chameleon. There are many pictures of them on this forum. I don't know what a Mediteranean chameleon is, but I'm sure if you Googled you could find a picture of one.

mediteranean chams are also know as common chameleons and look like senegal chameleons, telling the difference is easy, if your buying them as an adult veilds obviously have a larger veil, if you buy them as babies male veild chameleons have spurs at the back of their hind legs.

Take a look at this photo of meditteranian:
http://www.hlasek.com/foto/chamaeleo...eleon_8195.jpg

And at this little female veiled cham:

As you can see the veil is going up even at this little one. That´s the sign you should see at any veiled one...

Mediterranean cham is the European Chameleon. The Veiled Chameleon is much larger and got a much bigger "helmet" on their heads.
Google them, it will help!

Thanks for the info. The female looks like any baby vieled. I can tell the difference in the males.

I beg to differ. Veiled has that pointy head and the other is more flat.and besides if the seller don't know the difference between the two, I'd look for a more reputable one.

It may appear there is not a big difference. But what is the main difference is between the casque. On a veiled chameleon, the caque is pointed upwards like an upside down letter "V". The Mediterranean chameleon's casque is not pointed upwards like the veiled.
