How big is too big?

Hi all! I am attempting to do this from my husbands phone, so please forgive me if it doesn't come out quite right. But I saw on craigslist that there were metal screen cages for sale, they were the zilla ones. Well I assumed they were little ones but never asked dimensions.I told him I would give him 75 for the two of them and he said ok. I am planning on using these cages for my babies but they are huge. We just left so I don't have exact measurements but I am thinking 3 high 3 wide and 1 1/2 deep. Is that too big for month-month 1/2 old babies, and if not how many can that hold. Ok thanks for replies, but I have to go...it isn't easy posting a reply through a phone! I will post pics later. Thanks!
