hovabator with fan

Has any one used the hovabator with turbo fan for panther eggs? .my concern is the vermiculite drying more than normal. I have all my eggs with a lid and one or two holes. It just seems the cups on the top dry faster than the cups underneath.I was told the heat will distribute better with the fan.I just don't want to be adding more water more often . Any help will be highly appreciated.

Since most people don't use incubators at all and just incubate their panther eggs in a closet or cabinet shelf I don't think a fan is needed. I'm currently using a hovabator without a fan personally. This is my first clutch though but based on my research and talking to breeders I don't think you need to get that fancy.

i have 3 hovabators none wit a fan and they work awesome just hatched out at exactly 8 months a beautiful blue bar panther clutch with 2 more hovo bators filled with eggs months apart no fan is fine. I will say this about the egg try and use a good medium of organic vermiculite for the eggs it held water and smelled and stayed clean.

I would never use or recommend the use of a fan driven incubator, they dry the air out too quick and can dehydrate eggs. If you do choose this type of incubator make sure your eggs are inside closed containers. As the last thing you want is air moving over the eggs.
