Hibiscus stem?

Is hibiscus stem okay for my veiled? I just caught him munching on it. My hibiscus is leafless now and he's going for the stems next. Please tell me this isn't bad. :(

No its not bad but dont let him overdue it. They are known leaf eaters but maybe change that hibiscius to a pothos.

My veiled loved pothos he ate them everytime so i switched to schflerra and then back to pothos after he was full grown and now he wont eat them. '

Just my experience

I heard hibiscus is better than pothos, unless you're addressing the steam eating, not the leaves.

I have a female veiled who demolishes hybiscus plants. I have a couple that I rotate, but the last one I got a big lazy and didn't take it out soon enough and now there are just branches. I hope I get some leaves, otherwise it is trash.

Syn, did your cham eat other types of plants before distroying the poor little hibiscus? I have a CB veiled that doesn't seem at all interested in any plants, although when I get his new cage set up I'll be putting in a small hibiscus and pothos vine (fingers crossed). I'm erally hoping he'll like them enough to maybe eat a little :)

He only touched the hibiscus. As far as I can tell he left the pothos untouched.
