Wait, why in the world were these two threads merged? This thread had NOTHING to do with the other thread. Shouldn't it have been put in breeding if anywhere else? Just seemed a little..unfair.

I have no idea why this is merged together. At this point I give up questioning it. I see countless threads of baby announcements all the time.
At least people are noticing.My next post may be in Chinese for your decoding pleasure. Anyway thanks for everyones comments.Feeling like Milton on Office Space.

Hey Chuck. i know this is totally off subject but I have been wondering. I know you own a gym and are into mixed martial arts. I am really skinny and a big wimp for a metal head. Would you teach me hahahahaha JK. Really though I was wondering if you compete and what levels you have competed at and also your record and maybe your worst injury also.

The husbandry forums are for the discussion of specific husbandry questions, methods, or problems. They are not intended to be used for commercial baby or website announcements. The General Photography forum is more of a show and tell area and is more lenient if the discussion does not get too commercial. Take a look at what others are doing. The post in question I think would have been more appropriately made in the lizard lounge or as a blog post. If it had a photo the general photography forum would have worked. If anyone has a suggestion on forum structure and/or organization please post in the feedback forums or send me a private msg.

Brad, I would completely agree with you if everyone who has had eggs hatch on this forum, and posted about the event, been put in the lizard lounge. But I personally think this thread would have been better moved to the breeding section where everyone else posts their baby announcements, rather than merged with a prior thread that had nothing to do with this one. Not at all trying to be rude, just pointing out a small injustice.

The breeding forum is not intended for commercial baby announcements. None of the husbandry forums should be used as a commercial tool, period. I have said the same thing to sponsors. In my opinion I am treating Chuck like I treat everyone else. I'm not sure what else to say. If there are commercial threads in the breeding forum they should not be there and I will remove them when discovered.
