roaches

I would really not worry about a roach infestation with the giant hissers, especially nymphs. More than likely they'll die of dehydration or starvation. When theyre really hungry they will even cannabalize eachother. I really can't foresee Hissers surviving the winter in BC. They're way too tropical to infest that far up north... that is unless you keep your house in the upper 80s and with tropical humidity. I've been keeping roaches for quite some time now and the only ones that i ever worried about an infestation with were Lobster Roaches. Nothing else really worries me when they escape, i always find them dead somewhere.

I second this
unless you live in a tropical climate
these little guys will die.
I've had them escape before they have a difficult time surviving
unless you home is a complete rotting mess they aren't going to make it.

they're not an infectious house species imo.

Where to buy Roach Death Hotels

Where can I buy these? I've checked 10 stores and no one knows what the heck I'm talking about. From the look of what's on the shelves for causing bug death, ants, wasps and mosquitoes are the only things people are worried about where I live. I guess they dont throw roaches around their houses like I did
Can you buy Roach Hotels on-line somewhere?

What a drag....and to think of all the convincing i've had to do with my wife about these roaches and how they cant escape or survive if they somehow miraculously did. Ill be keeping your story very tightlipped.

You may need to get the roach motels from the US or maybe back east,Ive heard they have a small roach problem back there.

The guy i got mine from mentioned putting out some water, where they will usually drown themselves.

Good Luck

i think you should use this put one in every room and read directions and leave your house for as long as it says stay at familys house for a night or to. Im not shure how long you should stay away from this but also dont leave your chams dogs or cats home

I tried to get rid of some mite-infested hissers when I moved to the mountains 2 years ago. I left the tank outside for months, from September through the winter. The adults were STILL alive in February.

They were sheltered from wind, but not the cold. they survived many nights into the 30's.

That same winter, my orange headed and green banana roaches all died, in the insulated basement... Figures...
