help!!!

im getting a Senegal chameleon and ill be housing him in a 16x30 screen enclosure.
is that fine for a Senegal cham ? if not is 16x30 ok ?
what type of uvb is best 5.0 or 10.0 for sen. cham. ?
is 10.0 ok for a veiled ?

Is this your first chameleon? If so I would pass on a Senegal unless it is captive born. This can be a difficult species even for an experienced keeper. Panthers and veilds are much better to start with.

If you are stuck on getting a Senegal think about graceful's. The look very similar and have similar care needs. Terrylund has captive born for sale and they look awesome.

Sorry that doesn't answer your question but it is much better to buy supplies then pay vet bills.

my first chameleon is a hatchling veiled which hatched on july 13
im thinking on getting a Senegal.

Is the Senegal wild caught or captive born? Like the other member said Senegals can be very tricky to acclimate if they are wild caught and might not be a good choice for you. I know you have another chameleon, but you are only 3 months into chameleon keeping which is not a real long time.
