Hello everyone. I'm excited to be a part of the forum as I just got my first veiled chameleon.
. Any tips or opinions of my husbandry? His name is Carlos!
Welcome to the forums and congrats on Carlos. I keep veileds and they are so much fun to work with. They have great personalities. I would recommend a few more vines and branches for his enclosure and a hanging plant would be really nice. I'm attaching my blog for new keepers. This is the info I gave to all new keepers that got a baby veiled from me. https://www.chameleonforums.com/blo...-keepers-young-veiled-panther-chameleons.html
Thank you so much. I do have a vine I could put in but was afraid it would be too much. I have a big hanging pothos plant right in the middle. I took its vines and wrapped them through a bunch of it's area. I also have a small Schefflera plant in the bottom right front corner. I'll try and take a clearer pic.
I'd add a bit more vines up at the top and maybe wrap the pothos around them. It is a little bare where your cham will spend most of its time. Congrats on your new addition Carlos and best of luck with him!
Thank you very much for your information. I did add some more vines throughout the top and I wrapped the pothos around as much as I could. He seems to be enjoying it and exploring a lot more
