Is he old enough?

I've housed these two babies together since I bought them the end of February. They were a part of the February import. He weighed 13g Feb. 26 and had no horns.

He thinks he's all grown up now. He weighs 40g.

If he is old enough to actually breed, is he old enough to be fertile?

It looks like the fun and games are over. Three hours ago she was crawling around him trying to get him to breed her. Now she's a spectacular black with a jewel-colored face.

I guess you'll see if he's old enough now. Males usually take a little longer than females to mature. As you noted, some males are interested whether they're mature enough or not. My guess is the eggs will turn out not to be fertile. Hope I'm wrong though. Keep us posted.
