get Your 3D color printed Chameleons!

Hey all,

I'm re posting here from the classifieds because I'd really like to get this communities feedback! So I'm a 3d artist by trade and decided to throw this lil piece together to print for myself using a zcorp 3d color printer. I'm going to send it off to print next week and the cost will be yet to be determined.

I was wondering if any of you would be interested in prints as well? I plan on doing a few Panther models and maybe a veiled model as well. I can figure out the cost first thing next week and let anybody whose interested know what I find.

I was hoping to keep the scale around 5 to 6 inches tall and I'm guessing the cost will be around $75.00ish but I don't know for sure. The really cool thing about these is that I could paint them to have the exact skin coloration as your personal chameleons. So it's just like you're own cham sitting with you at your desk (As if we weren't already obsessed enough with these right?!).

Here's a 3D render of the progress so far. I think an ambilobe and ambanja will look super cool in this same style in their own coloration as well!

OK guys! Here's another of the beautiful sire "Bolt" from canvaschams.com.(I hope they're ok with me posting this) I think this chameleon is absolutely gorgeous and very much hope to get one of his babies one day (forgive the shameless plug)!

And sadly yes the hornworm gets eaten again...

It was not a color print, just one coral plastic. I took a pic and then designed it all myself

FYI these pictures are getting horribly compressed and resized....Is there any way around this?

Actually, that is typical of a female veiled that is receptive and mature but she does have great spots

What an awesome idea! Thanks for developing one based off the amazing Bolt! I would be more than happy to give you reference pictures of anything you would be looking to make. I would be blown away if you would be able to make one of "Miss America" our baby campani on my finger

As for images, if you post them to an online source first and then insert them via the URL and they will retain the image size and quality.
