full belly , bath - time for bed puppy

finally got him to go potty- and once he got that done, he was ready to eat, he is doing very well now- he ate a whole 3/4 of an Oz - that is ALOT for such a tiny little guy - also got to see Quinn again tonight- he is doing GREAT - even his tiny nubby leg looks really good
this little guy still needs a name-

OMG, look at that little tongue sticking out, now that is one happy pup, full belly, warm snuggle and some zzzzzz's

yep - he is happy now- he was not feeling the best when he got here- today was the first day he really ate well for me- I never get to excited unless I have both ends working - he really ate well tonight

He is just precious and I don't know if I could get rid of him!....what breed is he?....I'm so happy to hear that he did poop and ate good, things looking up for the little guy.

he is a Maltese - same as the little 3 legged guy he is a 1/2 brother to Quinn ( the 3 legged one )
yes- he will be VERY hard to give up - but......thats the deal
we may be taking Quinn after he has his leg removed for recovery, and then I think my sister may adopt him

He is so darn cute. I sure would enjoy seeing him. I love tiny animals of almost any kind. He really is way to cute to give back. Maybe he could live with me???

he is not doing well at all- he has had to go back to tube feeding- i feel so bad for him- but all I can do is try- I have him on some special formula, and also was able to find some bacteria for him- he just go nothing from the mom- he was only able to nurse for a few hrs- then they took the pups off- its no wonder he is the only one who has not died - but I do not have high hopes - going to be a long night ~

he was, but he is so tiny, and what ever they tried to feed him before I got him made him first so he could not poop - and today about all he did was poop bloody stool- he also go a fever- so I am thinking what ever they gave him irritated his intestines to the point of maybe an infection- or, he only had a few hrs on his mom- so he did not get hardly any antibodies or good bacteria he needed - so he has a very weak immune system - they are kinda like some of the chammys - they can go down hill so fast - but I cant just fill his belly- if he has a fever, he wont digest well- its sad, and frustrating- that is why I never really feel good about how they are doing unless they are w/ me at least 48 hrs- but even then, anything can happen- he is going to go see the vet in the afternoon if he does not get a better apatite by am - he is on a every 2 to 3 hr feed - so I hope he will feel better soon- he poo is getting back to a yellow- ( a good puppy poop color- ) and he was more active at the last feed- so XXX your fingers-

I hate that this little baby is sick, God bless him......praying that he makes it, sounds like he had a terrible start in life, such an adorable baby!

ok, I think he has turned the corner- for the good he has been doing much better after a day of tube feeding, and OMG- what ever he was started on has finally worked its way out- it was so nasty- no wonder he damn near died from it - it was rancid !

he is wiggling all over now and wants to eat every 2 hrs like he should ( but I am sooooooo tired lol )

So happy for you and him, he is going to make it!!.....you have to post pics as soon as he does get his eyes open.
