I'm a first time chameleon owner and I'm 15 but I have only had like frogs in the past and I had one turtle, but I don't know about this these things seem so difficult. Does it get easier after a while, also half the people I talk to tell me to handle the baby often but the other half says don't?!?!! Can someone pleAse give me some advice on this

Well if this your first cham you should really do a lot of research of the type of chameleon you have and it won't get easier Cuz chameleons are a lot of responsibility and require a lot of attention!! Let me know what type of chameleon you have and then I'd be able to help you out a bit.

Hey Garnet! Welcome to the forum. I am actually around your age and I have owned a chameleon since February, and I love it! If your chameleon gets pissed off all the time you even open it's cage, I would not recommend it. Mine just crawls on my hand so yeah. They require lots of attention and specific needs in order to thrive.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your first chameleon. If you do plenty of research and get everything set up correct and get all the correct supplies then you should be fine. Chameleons take allot of dedication and can be allot more fragile to keep than other reptiles. I'm going to assume that you have a panther or veiled and give you my blog for taking care of those two species. I'm also giving you a link to additional chameleon information and it has care sheets for additional species. When you get a chance post some photos of your new guy. We all like pictures. :)
