hi its me again,

1. my cham has been climbing upside down on the screen top of the encloser, im wondering sometimes shes only holding with one arm, how many of you have seen a cham. fall? i hope im worried for nothing on that..

2. also what does it mean if she is just sitting there then hangs her mouth open, and shes doing it alot when she is upside down now? just curious..

lol mine use to do that alot too bt it dont do it anymore now i got a propper heat lamp for it at the bottom of cage (basking spot) i think it gose to top cus thats where the light is and it keeps it warm there

he need more heat? check the temp first to see if thats the case.

ok i guess ill go back to my higher watt bulb...

anyone know whats up with the opening the mouth thing...

mine dose that to let out hot ait and to vent to keep its self cool and to not get too hot ur pets doing the same as mine and same as my friends lol so it looks normal and safe i guess...

it might be at the top of the cage because it feels intimidated and being higher up makes them feel safer. the mouth being open could be because she's too hot being right up by the heat lamp so i wouldn't go straight for a higher wattage bulb, try raising the viv higher off the floor to put her basking spot above your eye level and that may help her feel safe

Opening mouth, Could be showing anger/strike/shy/scared mode because of your appearance.

They also open their mouth when they get to hot. Jann

how high is its cage located? it may be trying to get higher. they open their mouth when they need to cool down, check your temps.
