Female Veiled with Eggs?

Hey everybody,

My female veiled that I haven't bred yet is approx. 10 months old and getting fairly round. I can't see any egg shapes in her belly yet and she's eating and drinking well.

I was wondering if I should try to breed her now or wait to see if she lays some infertile eggs first. I wasn't sure that if the eggs were already parially developed if they would still be able to be fertilized or not.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

Thanks ... Dyesub Dave. :D

I don't breed mine until they are at least 1 year old. I like to make sure that they are done growing before I put the demands of laying fertile eggs on them.
