Female veiled and eggs

my female cham is around 7months old and i was wondering if there are any signs (apart from digging) that she might be developing eggs. can you see/ feel them inside of her when you pick her up? im in the middle of creating an egg-laying area for her enclosure around 5-6inch deep

To my knowledge, you should be able to see some egg-like shapes right above there back legs (Or in front) You might be able to feel them I believe. Hope this helped!

Yes, it will look like her belly is full of marbles. She will eat more, but reduce her intake when egg laying nears.

Normally, before laying eggs they will gain weight, stop eating and start roaming allot. She's at the age where you should cut way back on her food and keep the temps down to 80 or 81 to stop the clutch for forming. Something related to eggs is what normally kills the female. Why not put a deeper opaque container of washed playsand into the cage so she has a place to dig and you won't have to worry about it so much??
