Dubia Roaches - Can they eat hay?

Given that Dubia are designed to eat grasses, grains, fruits etc.

I don't see why they cannot eat Timothy Hay. I was thinking of grinding Timothy Hay, Oak Leaves, Walnut Leaves & Cereal together for a dry food.

Anyone have any input on this?

What about Tortilla Chips... They are just deep fried flour with salt on them.

Try and see I guess.

I have offered alfalfa pellets and they do not seem to be able to eat the entire pellet- a lot of pale fibers are left but the green stuff is eaten.

I've gotten the alfalfa/timothy cubes and beat them with a mallet, and shred the rest with my fingers. I'll put a thin layer in their bin, and they'll eat it slowly along with whatever veggies I toss in.
