Drip System at Night?

Hello,
I'm fairly new to reptiles and recently purchased a male veiled chameleon. From my research I know that the relative humidity should stay between 55-65% with a slight increase at night. I wanted to know if anyone else turns off their drip system at night? I left mine on for about an hour after I turned his lights off and noticed it jumped to 90% humidty. So I turned it off.

Thanks,

All newbies to chams get neurotic over monitoring RH, I know I did, dont worry about it, esp with a veiled cham.

If your home RH is normally low, just cover the back and maybe one side of the cage (assuming its screen) with heavy plastic cut to size.
Use a dripper durring the day, and hand mist a few times a day and you will be fine.

I stoped monitoring cage RH for my guys a long time ago, it fluctuates so greatly as to make any measurement meaningless.
