Once they are done, each 4 cage system will be fully automated! Just throw in bugs

Wanna go outside? Just unplug surge protector, quick disconnect waste/water, unlock rolling wheels, and away they go.

The thing that kills me is I had to shorten them to roll under the garage door. So since I did that, I made sure they would also roll under interior doors also(why not). I wanted a shelf unit on top for extra storage

But I'm happy, except it took a week to design...

Oh, my cages are built in though, each one measures 2x2x3.5 ft. Drilled deviders and outside frame boards placed in the right spots to allow propper airflow. The deviders are removable just incase I need a larger cage for something, after all each system is 8ft long. Its how I did it years ago, and its way cheaper then buying 2x2x4 cages.

We should share ideas
I'd love to, I wanna see this rack u r doing!!! I have over 1000 pictures of chams, cages, feeders etc. glad to share Picts and info any time.

I'm doing good man... I finally got some free time and set up Dexter's mid size cage... He is doing really well in it... It is easy to see he is much happier with the added space... The silk worm project kind of took a turn for the worst in the past few days... I'm really not sure what happened but I lost about half of what I had left so now I might be down to like 20 or so worms... I guess you live and you learn... I still want to touch base with you about them and see what you think might have happened but it seems with our schedules its next to impossible haha...

Really nice work! That's the same idea I used inside Zaphod's enclosure. The drain in the middle causes the liner to stretch down from the sides and no water build up! Awesome job!
