does noise stress chams

Im reading every where "Put the cage in a low traffic room to reduce your chameleon's stress." So this makes me wonder does noise / music stress the cham as well? Im always listening to music in one room which can be pretty bassy, the room i intend on keeping the cham ( drum and bass ) and do occasionally shake my house

Chameleons don't hear, they feel. Chams can communicate stress or anger through vibrating a tree limb. If a cham is sitting in his tree and he feels it tremble he might think a pissed off cham is sitting near by and cause him stress.

I would not keep him around or near or even keep a chameleon if you plan to rattle your own teeth out.

The advice you read is given for a good reason, so please take it. Sorry if I sound angry, I am not. I am just being straight about it. Chams should not be blasted with music.

Summoner nailed it on the head. You can go up to your cham cage and scream and they wont wake up if you don't shake their cage. But keep in mind if you were woke up at 3 in the morning to YOUR house shaking. I'd probably freak out to.
