does anyone know what kind of gecko this is? its crutial!

its about an inch big. he/she is eating pinhead crickets. someone brought it to my job claiming they found it in their moms apartment building lol it looks like a hatching to me. my manager and i are trying to figure out what kind of gecko it is so we can set up the proper habitat for it. he doesnt stick on the plastic walls of the tank hes pretty quick and sooooo cute lol please helpppp

My first guess would be a Common House Gecko or Hemidactylus frenatus.

he/she doesnt look like a house gecko though he doesnt climb the glass and his tail is different but he can drop his tail alittle dropped while the people that gave him/her to us were trying to catch him/her
 
oh wow i just looked up what a baby house gecko looks like and they look so alike so just ignore what i just posted lol
 
its a mediterranean gecko which is a non native species. i would honestly just let it go outside near your porch light. if you want to keep it, a small glass exoterra would be perfect. i would use an under tank heater on one side, and they need pretty high humidity, around 70%. they only need a hot spot that's around 80 degrees. as far as substrate, i would use paper towel, coco fiber, or orchid moss. the two latter will help hold humidity better.
