Hey guys i had stopped at my friends house and while there i noticed he had a chameleon. I could tell though that the chameleon is dehydrated badly. I recommended a half hour shower with the water not directly hitting the cham. I told him to do three two min misting daily as well. I am no cham expert though i dont even own one yet but we want to make sure this guy getsthe best of help. please fill in all my blanks as im sure there are many.

Where to start! At the top of this forum there is a sticky titled "How To Ask For Help". The form will give you/your friend the questions to answer so we can help. All these things affect hydration and overall health, but without more specifics we can waste a lot of time the cham needs.

There is more to hydrating a cham than that, but it's a good start. The best thing to do is introduce your friend to this forum. That way he can fill out the "how to ask for help" form and post pictures. There are so many issues that can affect a chams health. The form is the first thread in the health section, print it and have him fill it out. Be a friend and make him do it!

A good way to help with hydration is to get bugs with high moisture levels. Try hornworms they are very hydrating but id just make sure to keep up the showers and misting.

What makes you say that its dehydrated?

As was said...fill out the help sheet please...it makes it easier for us to see what's going on.

thanks for the replys all. I told him to join the forum. He said he should be posting the help sheet soon, I showed it to him yesterday. I think he was dehydrated because his eyes were sunken and his tail was thin and boney
