Crickets laying eggs in cage

Hey, I was cleaning my cage the other day and noticed a bunch of little tiny bugs crawling around in the soil. Ive heard a lot about little dirt nats, so I first assumed it was these making a new home in the moist plant soil. At a closer glance though, I noticed they were a bunch of little baby crickets. After coming to the assumption that the adult feeder crickets have laid their eggs in the dirt I was able to witness it first hand.
Today, after throwing in some new feeders into the outdoor cage, I was able to watch the crickets actually stick their Ovipositor into the dirt for about 2-3 mins at a time; doing what I believe to be laying eggs. Anyway, I guess my question is... Is it a problem that my crickets are laying eggs in my plants potting soil?

Why don't you place some shallow dishes of moist soil in your cricket bin(s) and let them lay their eggs there.
every week or so you can rotate the dishes into a nursery bin. I have had the best luck when the baby cricket container has a moist soil substrate.
Your crickets seem to want to work for you ... you should take advantage of that!
